FREE Daytime Training Session - Self Harm and Suicide Prevention Awareness

We are holding a FREE two-day training session for our Level 2 Self Harm and Suicide Prevention Awareness course!

This qualification is aimed at anyone seeking to improve their understanding and awareness of suicide and self-harm. The knowledge individuals will gain is not sector-specific but can be applied to a broad range of personal and professional situations.

Individuals who may find this self harm training course useful to their professional life include: teachers, mental health workers, crisis helpline volunteers, support workers, individuals in a safeguarding role, parents or guardians, and others working with individuals who may be at increased risk of self-harm or suicide.

 

ABOUT THE TRAINING SESSION

These free training sessions will be run on both Friday 1st November 2024 (9am - 3pm) and Friday 8th November 2024 (9am - 3pm).

You must attend both to achieve this qualification.

  • Find out about Self Harm and Suicide
  • Meet your tutor who will support you throughout (Sophie McGurk)
  • Discuss the course content with the class
  • Decide to study online or by workbook

On completion of the two sessions, you will achieve a nationally recognised qualification and a certificate will be sent to you for Self Harm and Suicide Prevention Awareness!

Please note that this course must be completed online, so you will need to bring with you your laptop.
