Our Brooksby Campus is perfect for studying for a career in this dynamic and vitally important sector. As well as the fantastic 850-acre Brooksby estate, our horticulture facilities include five acres of formal gardens and state-of-the-art glasshouses.

Also known as "giant rhubarb" or "dinosaur food," Gunnera is a large, herbaceous flowering plant with enormous leaves. Some species can reach up to 3m in diameter, and tehy have a unique symbiotic relationship with cyanobacteria (blue-green algae) in their root nodules!
The Monkey Puzzle tree, scientifically known as Araucaria araucana, is a large evergreen conifer native to Chile and Argentina and known for its spiky leaves!
Our glass houses are home to a huge variety of exciting plants, from super interesting carnivores such as venus flytraps and pitcher plants, to our fuiting passionfuit vine and large-leaved banana plant!
