The SMB Group is a highly successful FE college, formed through the merger of Stephenson College and Brooksby Melton College. We are an innovative and highly responsive centre for education and training with campuses in Coalville, Melton Mowbray and Brooksby.

This is an exciting time to join the SMB Group and we are now recruiting for a Section Manager based at our Brooksby campus to provide high quality and effective management of the areas including apprenticeships in forestry, arboriculture,  grounds, sports turf and the new HE programme by ensuring excellence, innovation and sustainability in teaching, learning and assessment, and therefore ensuring excellent student success.

You should have experience in successfully managing a team to achieve key organisational objectives and an appetite to increase study programme numbers and ambition to create a strong and profitable short course offer.

You will have excellent organisation and leadership skills, with the ability to communicate well with both students and colleagues.  Building and maintaining professional employer relationships, through quality programme control, good communication and general key account principles is a further skill set vital for this role.
