FREE Daytime Training Session - Understanding Children and Young People's Mental Health

We are holding a FREE training session for our Level 2 Understanding Children and Young People's Mental Health course!

This course covers a variety of key concepts that are vital for understanding the mental health of young people, incluing:

  • Understanding the concept of mental health
  • Legislation and guidance
  • Risk factors which may affect mental wellbeing 
  • How abuse or bullying may affect mental health
  • Stress and anxiety in children and young people
  • Depression in children and young people
  • Specific mental health conditions that children and young people may experience
  • Understanding the importance of diagnosis
  • Person-centred approaches to supporting children and young people with mental health concerns
  • Promote mental well-being in children and young people

During the session, you will:
