My training at Melton was an invaluable part of my career. Every day is different at college, there are endless opportunities. The chance to work on full scale productions within the course provided me with the professionalism and knowledge to work in the industry today.

I’ve never forgotten the skills and experience that I received from the Acting programme at Melton. The tutors gave us the entire toolkit to assist us in a career in the performing arts. These were not just performance skills but advice on being a leader and running your own projects. This gave me the confidence to go off and continue making my own theatre.
My time at Brooksby was truly memorable. Whilst I studied acting for two years, I felt very much a part of something much bigger in the whole performing arts department, working like a professional company, yet with the support of a family.
“I am currently in my second year of the Equine Performance Science Foundation degree, and I previously studied Level 3 Equine Management at Brooksby, also. The degree is opening us up to lots of different opportunities and getting us experience across all the sectors. We do everything from stay away trips to theory and practical work here on campus, while having guest speakers come and give us an insight into the industry and different career pathways that we could take.
“Having always had a passion for horses, equine education was a dream come true, so I started at Brooksby with the Level 3 Extended Diploma in Equine Management. I loved each module and was eager to learn more! Through this, the Foundation Degree in Equine Performance Science was a clear path to take to further my knowledge in Equine studies.
