Delivered by a registered veterinary nurse, this course will provide a practical and theoretical grounding in how to respond to a range of medical situations and how to provide initial first aid to canines.

    This course will cover the range of emergencies you may encounter, First response, Emergency First Aid, CPR and various bandaging techniques.
  • Where could this course lead to?
    This course is great professional development for those who are already working in the animal industry, or for dog owners who wish to gain knowledge of first response techniques. Upon completion, learners may wish to continue their Animal Management education with other short courses.
  • What qualifications or experience do I need?
    You do not need any previous experience or formal qualifications to join this course.
